Dear parents and the extended Yeshiva Har Torah family,

The YHT-PTA is so grateful to the partnership with the administration and teachers alike, as well as to our many dedicated parents who volunteer their time to the PTA. Our collaboration directly leads to our success.

PTA dues and fundraisers -- like the chocolate bar sale and book fair, to name a couple -- raise money that allows us to sponsor many events and programs throughout the year. These include amazing shows and events for Purim and Chanukah, science and music programs for all grades, treats for Rosh Chodesh, Chanukah, and Tu B’shvat, as well as special school-wide lunches on many days. The PTA also sponsors and provides essential resources like the school calendar and directory.

There are so many ways to be involved in the PTA. We are incredibly thankful to everyone who has volunteered to lead a committee or be a part of one. Feel free to email any committee head to see how you can become involved, even if you have limited time. If you don't know where to start, email us at [email protected] and we will be happy to help you find a role. There is something for everyone, no matter your interests or time restrictions. Your children will be proud and excited to see you involved in their school. In addition, in a school like ours, which prides itself on bringing people together from different communities and backgrounds, volunteering for the PTA is a great way to meet people and make new friends.
