Children in our Elementary School enjoy learning in an atmosphere that encourages cooperation, individual excellence and a quest for knowledge. Our students are encouraged and supported with integrated programs such as:
Our dedication to teaching Ivrit B’Ivrit leads to a familiarization and proficiency in Chumash with Rashi, Navi, Dinim and Mishna.
Our warm and caring individualized approach continues into the Elementary and Junior High School grades. Children enjoy learning in an atmosphere that encourages cooperation, individual excellence and a thirst for knowledge.
Tal Am, an integrated Jewish Studies curriculum based on a Hebrew language immersion model, provides the foundation for both language and Chumash text study.
In General Studies, our teachers differentiate instruction though our balanced literacy and Balanced Mathematics curricula. Our new state-of-the-art Science, Math and Technology Lab provides for hands-on learning and exploration.
Instructional Assistants, in both Jewish and General Studies, support the efforts of our teachers and enhance learning for all students. Highly specialized teachers provide enrichment, remedial support, music and gym classes. Individual student’s talents are recognized and nurtured in our art studio. Art appreciation is furthered through our "Learning to Look" program.
As students progress through the grades, they are introduced to more sophisticated original texts in Navi, Mishnah and Gemara. Our departmentalized General Studies program, along with our sophisticated science and computer labs, challenge and engage our students.
Through ongoing projects both in and out of school, students learn the importance of Chesed. They continue to develop their social, intellectual and athletic skills in a wide variety of after-school teams and clubs.
We are proud of the kindness and sensitivity with which our students embrace Holocaust Studies, programs with developmentally challenged youngsters and our Big Brother/Big Sister Program.
Students are enriched by a host of co-curricular and extra-curricular offerings. The many options include: E2K Science and Math Enrichment, Mishmar, Inter-Yeshiva Science Fair, Math Olympiads, Torah Bowl, City Wide Spelling Bee, and Geography Competition.
Our graduates are sought after, and attend Yeshiva High Schools of their choice. Many continue to study in elite Yeshivot and Seminaries in Israel after high school or pasthigh school Yeshivot as well as in prestigious universities such Yeshiva University, Penn, Harvard, Princeton, Columbia, Barnard and CUNY Honors.
