PTA

The PTA at YHT serves many important functions. The PTA serves as a liaison between the administration, the teachers and the parent body. At the same time, the PTA raises funds in order to enhance the quality of life at YHT.

The PTA sponsors the calendar and the telephone directory; Rosh Chodesh treats, the Chanukah & Yom Haaztmaut luncheons and Tu B’Shevat treats; the Israeli Day Parade; school wide Chanukah, Purim & Lag BaOmer events; various assemblies & workshops and the Parshat Noach pre-school petting zoo; Chanukah gifts for the teachers, Bar & Bat Mitzvah gifts and the 8th grade senior gift.

The success of the PTA depends on the assistance of our parent volunteers. All parents are encouraged to volunteer and get involved in the various PTA committees. The funds raised by these committees together with the annual dues collected, helps the PTA to provide these activities throughout the year.
