Student Teams

At Yeshiva Har Torah, students have opportunities to pursue their interests, challenge themselves, and represent their school through a variety of athletic and academic teams. These experiences foster collaboration, leadership, perseverance, and school pride while encouraging students to develop their talents both inside and outside the classroom.

Athletic Teams

Athletics are an important part of student life at Yeshiva Har Torah. Through practices and competition, students build teamwork, leadership, perseverance, communication, and sportsmanship while developing confidence and school pride.

Middle School students have the opportunity to represent YHT in the Metropolitan Yeshiva Day School Athletic League (MYDSAL). Boys compete in basketball, hockey, and soccer, while girls compete in basketball, soccer, and volleyball.

Academic Teams
Academic teams provide students with opportunities to extend their learning beyond the classroom while collaborating with peers who share their interests. Through competition and teamwork, students strengthen critical thinking, creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills while proudly representing YHT in Robotics (Grades 4–8), Torah Bowl, Mock Trial, and Math Olympiads.
