On Tuesday morning April 27, 2010, the students of Yeshiva Har Torah were privileged to be visited by the Rav HaRashi, the Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Yona Metzger. We prepared beautiful signs and flags to welcome our special guest who entered the building as our students sang “Or Zarua LaTzadik”.

Rabbi Metzger spoke to the 6th, 7th and 8th graders in the Beit Midrash, sharing a beautiful and important message about Lag B’Omer. As Rabbi Metzger left the Beit Midrash, he was greeted by our Nursery through 5th graders and he wished all of our students success in their studies.
