Every Vote Makes a Difference: YHT’s Tzedakah Election
This Election Day, YHT GCP students are learning how their voices and choices can make a difference in our community. Through our Schoolwide Tzedakah Election, Judaic Studies teachers will introduce students to three organizations: Chessed 24-7, which supports individuals and families facing illness or crisis; Tomchei Shabbos, which provides food for families in need; and Chaverim, which offers volunteer assistance during everyday emergencies.
On November 3, students will vote for the organization that most inspires them. All three organizations will receive a portion of the funds raised, with the organization receiving the most first-choice votes earning the largest share.
